Gary73 62
Looks about right Mark, my hw100kt .22 groups the same with faps. I am convinced that unless you are indoors testing it only takes a small change in wind direction and your groups can turn bad. This is highlighted when shooting from enclosed or covered firing points. You feel no wind but the minute you walk forward there is a 5mph breeze changing direction etc causing havoc. Watch Huntersvermin on You tube his newly bowkett tuned s10 manages a 0.6" group at 30 yards rested in a very light breeze, sheltered. I did a 0.5" 14 shot group the day before with faps at 30 yards sometimes I think we expect to much of ourselves and our equipment. 40 yards sub one inch groups is fine. I also did the same 0.5" group x3 times today. I am sure indoors in good conditions that could be reduced to 3/8" or 1/4". I also think far to many people claim on you tube 50+yard shots on game and show groups that have been re-shot after the group went bad. 3 shots under a 5p at 55 yards, I don't think 3 shots is enough, 10 is more like it then I will be convinced. 2 Quote Link to post
