bigmac 97kt 13,787
Well after all the shit with jsb and head sizes and after the way i shot at si,s perm using the jsb 15,89 and realizing i had picked up a tin of mixed pellets 5,51 and 5,52 in the same tin no wonder i had a bad day . And viz had told me that when the rfd where he got his wolf from had put a 100 on the scales and they were all different waits and at £14 a pop for a tin i thought sod it and after talking to viz and si about the rws super dome in 22 at 14,5gr i went and got a tin now im a big big fan of the jsb and all ways go back to them but iv got to say after testing the rws out only out to 18yrds mind but up till now im well impressed with them And there hard hitting to just got to test them out to 30,,,40,,,50,,,60 yrds now . i must add i did not clean the barrel out just put three mags through her and this was the result have a look at the used pellets the jsb are on the right and the super domes on the left atvbmac  3 Quote Link to post
Gary73 62
Try a micrometer on pellets head size and you would be surprised that the JSB Exacts at 5.51 would likely be well under that size as would 5.52. Maybe around 5.48. I have just done a falcon accuracy plus that was 5.48 and it should be 5.52. It's the batch or run of pellets that is the key as you likely already know. I hope the superdomes work as I could get them cheap as chips and locally available but everything I hear is that they drop to much and after 40 yards get a little erratic. My .22 hw100kt can do x14 shots at 30 yards with super h points after that not so good. Keep us posted as I would love to hear how you get on after a barrel clean and at 40-50 yards. 1 Quote Link to post
jonnie bravo 572
I've heard the same about superdomes that they drop off a bit there will be a perfect pellet for it jimmy, my 99 loves Bisley LRG and FAPS but hates normal jsb exacts and h+n ftts un all head sizes! Quote Link to post
philpot 4,990
The used pellets you have there Jimmy may not have the same amount of antimony in them so therefore softer, possibly why they are cheaper, not that they hit harder. Just a thought mate. Phil Quote Link to post
si brown 8,486
They do drop off but it's consistent , there not flyers! I've dropped rabbits to 60m with them in .22 And the price and quality are spot on Only £8 down here Jimmy Atb si Quote Link to post
mark williams 7,552
One of the hunting lads from The HW 100 owners forum, mentioned in a post that RWS have started making their pellets with cheaper materials other than just lead and they are considered crap through the 100`s these days compared to superb not so long ago. Don`t quote me on this mind, just repeating something I read. atb Quote Link to post
philpot 4,990
I confess they are very poor in my HW100 .177 but if they are good in yours Jimmy, spot on mate and save a few quid in the process. Phil Quote Link to post

Rabid 1,936
The super domes worked pretty well in mine, then I tried falcon accuracy plus and they were awesome, so bought ten tins from uttings and its shooting all over the place, doing some chrono testing tomorrow to see if anything has changed with the gun, if not must be the pellets Quote Link to post
