Started with a small piece of steel bar and a block of wood each and we made these. And did you use a primitive type glue or standard epoxy resin? Recently finished my first sheepsfoot file knife and really appreciate the shape of it, safe and useful Yes pre drilled then burnt on, used epoxy mixed with wood ash. You can use primitively glues but they take longer to cure. Everything else apart from epoxy was pretty much the old way of making knives. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
