Is It Wise To Cross Along Lurcher Line Back To Pure Greyhound?

Recommended Posts

There's a line of lurchers close to me that's been going for 30+ years that's very very greyhoundy 3/4 grey 1/4 whatever, [ whippet, collie, beddy, bull, saluki] to 3/4 cross and every now and again a full greyhound thrown in for good measure, there very fast and boy do they look the part but they've got a lot more bad points than good, bad feet, poor stamina, thin skin, turn like the QE2, lack of nose, shit recall, and just run about flat out in a straight line, this line badly needs a very well bred hard and fast at them saluki lurcher or a well bred half cross of whatever type they fancy, but to make that suggestion to them you would need to get the boxing glove out, don't be blind, do the right thing :boxing:

This line of very greyhoundy lurchers are that bad, in fact , no good points at all, they've been going for 30+ years? That's a LONG time to waste on a shit line of dogs. Seems quite puzzling to me

probably only the last 10 years they've became to greyhoundy, but there's just no telling them
