IMO the best scene is brian glover thinking he is a man u superstar and bullying the kids lol

It's a classic that film no matter how many times you watch ??

The lads are right,they shot the caning scene a few times and could not get it right, so caned them properly.

bloody hell, yeh same as the scene from (IF )they were really caned in that, they all had to have padding for scene :yes:

I am sure I mentioned this before, but we did Kes as a school play and we used a real kestrel. In fact I fed it with some sparrows shot with my air rifle (at school), at the request of the teacher producing it.

Best scene for me is when they get caned and they make the little lad running a message hold the tabs for them. Lol " oh proper little cigarette factory"

Lol that is funny , though I reckon they actually caned them as the young kid looks distraught , either that or good acting , Great Film .

 

As i remember it getting the cane at school didnt really hurt that much...it was the hiding the old man gave us at home for getting the cane that really hurt

Kes is classic British cinema...Brian Glover at his best...but he will always be Mr Rottweiler to me
