Can vouch for it ! I can never understand when people go all out for good breeding , fitness and traiming ect then feed some cheap shite kibble . Would they expect an Olympic athlete to do their best

wasnt aimed at you mate just in general people moan about a few quid thats all i ment

owd on just let me put my specs on and read this again, £ 70 a month fer one mutt, my initial monthly cost to me fer one mutt, sweet fa, with what she catches plus butchers scraps, ive said this befor

it's replicating a perfect balanced raw diet, but convenient... I fed raw for years n years but working the hours I do now just ain't got time to f**k around defrosting meat.

Next best thing is this grub like.

I've 5 dogs on MIllies Wolfheart stuff. The retired 2 are on the low fat versions and 2 on Salmon and veg. I had my saluki x on it but she dropped condition like you wouldn't believe. I rang them up and they suggested a lower protein, higher carb version from their products. The difference was visible in days.

The quality of the ingredients and the "science" behind the choice and preparation of them is leap ahead of the kibble that has previously been available

Which of the Millies do you feed the saluki x ? I've had mine on Akela original as a supplement to raw. It's ok but I reckon it's a bit 'rich' for her and would like to try something else.

Endurance.

Cheers  will give it a try

Mine have been on the original for a few days now, noticed they are crapping all the time, I'll see if it settles down, the one thing that worries me is the feeding guide, according to them just a little cup is enough which hardly covers the bottom of her bowl, but still loads of crap in the pen by morning

it's changing the diet that's why the shitting.

My pup was like it after a week he settled down.

The food is rich so don't over feed them stick to the guidelines and then go from there after a few weeks of feeding. Some dogs may need abit more etc.

I'm going to have to change it though my Springer is bouncing absolutely bonkers must be to much protein so next time I'll order a bag of the duck

Protein has no effect on energy levels - fats do. The dog would have to be in such a state of protein deprivation it looked like a skeleton before protein levels had any effect on energy levels

The belief that excess protein causes hyperactivity stems from outdated studies using feeds that relied heavily upon plant based protein. And the short gastric tract of a canine combined with the metabolism ensure that "excess" protein is passed out as sh#te. Usually soft and gaseous.

I bought some after reading reviews as I always feed raw. I have noticed a difference in coat and energy levels in my lurcher. Gave my bushing pup some to try as he won't eat other nibbles n he has been literally bouncing of the walls all day n night. Think He had too much, but he defo loved the stuff I bought the fish one.
