Akela Dog Food

Any of you guys use Akela kibble. My lad has a dog that's got a sensitive gut and ordered a bag from this place. I told him all the dry stuff is shit. Well it came today from the look of what is in it i may well be eating my words.

I'm feeding Orijen.along side raw ,beef,tripe,chicken,heart,liver,kidney,tuna,pilchards etc.plus lamb and beef bone to pup.mind u at 60 pound for a small bag it needs to be good.

Origen is the better food of the two quality stuff,

SImpson's premium is also of the same quality, as is much, if not all of the Millies Wolfheart range.

Ivd used grandorf for a couple of months and they been excellent on it, saved messing on with defrosting meat in the hot weather ? Pups dos very well on that and taste of the wild puppy

 

Acana Origen Taste of the wild and Grandorf the ones I've tried over the last couple of years all been very good dogs looked and worked well on them, they piss all over most bagged feed even stuff of similar price, worth every penny imho

It's about time decent dry shit.pup still won't eat to much of it.,picks threw to the meat.its a good idea for summer I suppose ,bloody flies everywhere,alot of raw goes to waste.

Feed mine raw used gain for a while but needed a skip to get rid of the amount of shite they did. Might be worth getting a couple of bags to mix with meat Did not know there was decent dry food about

Completes do seem to be gettin better don't they but the bags seem to be gettin smaller n smaller lol cheeky feckers, what are the ingredients of that grandorf artic n were can you get it..

Guy in shop showed us a code on the bags and majority of the good dog food is more or less the same from what he was saying. If u look at the codes they stem from same factory. That orijen by me is quid a sack if I was feeding that I wouldn't feed raw lol

It's made in Belgium and at present don't seem available outside there, we come across it be accident lol

I feed Akela and have for a year I wouldn't feed anything else now.

It's the same as orijen acana as in -20 mix but made in uk and £35 a sack compared to £60- for 10kgs.

It works well fed alongside raw or on its own.

I can't rate it highly enough.
