Decoying for air rifles over stubble is slowing up now.

Leaves are falling fast.

The nights are drawing in.

 

Must admit though, I love hunting with air rifles when the trees are barren of leaves.

 

Here`s " His Lordship" with one of the last decent bags from off the stubble decoying this season.

The woodies have not really taken off over here Mark, very very patchy, even difficult to know what the hell they are feeding on to be honest. Fresh cut corn, great stubble, loads in a morning then gone and not to return, just getting the timing has proved very difficult.

Glad you have done okay though mate.
