just watched it, why dont they just muzzle the bloody things in public , thought that was the law in most countries .? the best way to stop most damage from dog attacks, is lift the dog off the floor, more so with apbt, staffs, as there not big dogs to lift up, but even with big dog like rottie get there back legs off the floor then hand over nose , then soon loose when they can't breath was bought up with bull breeds as a kid , muzzle would have saved all this .!!

Everyone knows a finger in the bum calms them down.... for the pit bull I would've just picked it's back legs up and booted it in the stomach, may or may not've worked.

Finger doesn't always work. It can. I'm affraid getting on its back staying carlm as poss and strangling the f*** out of them is often the ONLY way. Bar in the mouth ,finger up the ar*e, ice cold water etc not always effective. Screaming,pulling,kicking can often only make the more aggresive and determined.

A bottle of water with a squeeze top safer than putting your hand near it's mouth;).trust me i carry the scars on both hands and my arm where my pals lurcher gripped me when my old blackdog decided to chew its leg off-no amount of hitting with sticks or pulling would of worked as quick as a litre of water up its nose-had 3 operations on my arm and hands-rest of my days on painkillers everytime I get on the shovel -work or play.I walk around dog shows with a bottle even when I have no dogs with me..atb dc
