Craic 203
I been to Brian Nuttals yard a few times over the years, IMHO there seemed to be two different types of terrier on the yard, one the smooth coated bully type and the other rough coated borderish looking jmho, I've seen photos of him from years ago and the dogs looked rough coated, maybe the smooth coat has something to do with the bulldog that been there jmho, Brian is a very likeable man in every way, but a peddlar is always a peddlar 4 Quote Link to post

Craic 203
I've given my opinion ,I stand by it, but I will not get in to a debate about an old man on an open forum 8 Quote Link to post
Rabbit Hunter 6,613
A peddler is someone that buys and sells dogs on a regular basis, simple as that. 1 Quote Link to post
pablo esc 1,598
I'm not saying that I agree on all he sold or who too or [BANNED TEXT].but the man had his own dogs and rights to do what he wanted. 2 Quote Link to post
bull mcabe 595
Nothing good comes from dog peddlers and lots of good has come from nuttalls yard. On that basis alone I reckon he shouldn't be refered to as a peddler. I've never had anything to do with the man or his stock but a lot of people would have nothing if it wasn't for him. It's easy to see the splinter in someones eye and you can't see the plank in your own as an old man once said to me. 3 Quote Link to post

chesney 5,445
Is it not case of men seeking him out for dogs and services and he provides if he has them on the ground. Quote Link to post

Im replying to the posts before mine talking about what a peddler is. End of the day if it wasnt for the likes of Nuttall, Gould etc there wouldnt be as much good stuff about as there is today. We might not agree with what they do but every line in Britain will have at least one dog of their breeding in it. I'd say theyre the last of a dying breed. Working terriers all their lives into their 80s. I'd love to know how many messers theyve seen come and go in their time. 5 Quote Link to post

DogFox123 1,379
Nuttall has forgotten more than most will ever know and that is a fact, for starters he bred great dogs and along the way will have undoubtedly learned a lot from some of the men who he worked with and off the men who bought his dogs.... 3 Quote Link to post
