Seen many dark foxes, legs, mask , brush nearly black, many obviously in litters. I have yet to see a pure black one, a few boys I have hunted with have witnessed this, we have worked areas where they have seen this colour variation but sadly it has eluded me so far

That's a cracking looking fix if I were you I'd have that as a full mount...I watched a documentary were people kept foxs for years and over the years there coats changed the more and more they were domesticated ...

Those fox's is I believe what they call a silver fox. At certain times of year they get lighter in color then get darker. In the states you see them but not very often.

Thats a cracker. I seen one this eveing it was a real dark chesnut brown was a real stunner glad my lurcher missed it by a mile.
