Gaz_1989 9,539
I got Altbergs they keep my feet dry but they ain't the most comfortable tbh, the heels have no give in them.I read something about them specialising in a foot type with a more narrow heal and wider front foot.I know the defenders I've got come in different widths, the heels in mine are like plastic heels so have no give. They're great boots just ain't the best if stomping uphill a lot, im gonna try Lowa next. Arn't these similar to lowa but cheaper. See these all the time on ebay. Extreme Cold Weather Booots http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ECW-EXTREME-COLD-WET-WEATHER-GORE-TEX-BOOTS-Size-14-Large-British-Army-NEW-/162164900334?hash=item25c1c801ee:g:nwAAAOSwHoFXqz~n They look handy, anyone got these?I've not seen those, they might be good boots, but you can get new defenders for the same money. Are the brand new defenders 70 quid gaz So it seems mate. There's a few pairs on eBay around that money if you can drop on your size... https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/222212882054
