Tiercel 6,986
Spinning for mullet. http://www.anglersmail.co.uk/fishing-tips/fish-fishing-tips/mullet-and-how-to-catch-the-thin-lipped-variety-24324 When the local power station was working we used to catch them on bubble floated strips of silver foil. They would feed on the hot water outlet of the power station on the cooked whitebait being thrown out with the hot cooling water. TC Edited August 30, 2016 by Tiercel Quote Link to post
Flipper_Al 1,012
Fly fish for them... superb sport. Quote Link to post
neil cooney 10,416
Fished for them only once. Put out balls of bread flake and watched a large shoal of Mullet sniff at my ground bait and hook bait for the next two hours, LOL. Not a bite. Still want to try them again though. 1 Quote Link to post
kerryb 103
Think carp fishing with float fished bread, ground bait your swim first to get them interested then standby for frustration watching them spit out your bait lol 1 Quote Link to post
Allan P 1,150
Thanks lads, don't think I'm quite so keen now lol. Quote Link to post
neil cooney 10,416
I wouldn't give up. Those who've been lucky enough to get one on the line (better still a fly) say it's the best battle you'll have pound for pound. Hope to do it some day. 1 Quote Link to post
