well the weather here is ace today after a truly sh!te weekend

so i thought id have a day out with the new toy

the original quary on this perm is these but its not happening can't shoot them off the roof and can't tempt the little fcukers down

had a fair few randoms that stray but theres loads!!

the random daytime rats have dried up too

so its rabbits off the paddocks and the hedge backs that surround them, did a bit of ninja crawling and found a good spot!

did a full on pellet test yesterday and put me figures in the phone

distances sorted

 

a couple of rabbits and birds went in the dykes that back the hedges, its a bit like the fens round here!

so a good day was had and a nice little mixed bag to boot

can't get near any woodys at the mo, roll on autumn

some uninvited kids put loads of holes in his sheeting so shooting in the barns is a non starter

i had plans for the rabbits but had to bin them!!

 

kids have been on holiday with there mum so i was going to cook something good but it wasn't to be!!

one of them had glazed eyes looked like the dreaded m and the other when i gutted it had all blisters round its stomach!!! ughh

good job I've got a couple in the freezer

taken this week off to spend some time with the bin lids before they go back to school gonna take them out hunting, see how they get on!

could be an experience

Right now the bit I am interested in, that gizmo on the phone, is it Chairgun app or something, I am crap with these bloody phones other than talking but this looks interesting.

It's pretty easy Phil and takes a lot of the guess work out when chopping and changing guns and pellets!

It's better on the laptop but I'm doing this on me phone so I'll do the phone setup!

 

First go to the App Store or google play and enter HAWKE in the search..

It'll bring this up

Install it, it's free and there are 3 choices

There are pre installed pellets and rifle choices.. What I do is choose one that's near enough and alter the profile to suit, the scope height is important, that's centre of bore to centre of scope lens!

Pellets b/c can be found here

 

You'll need to crono your pellets to get an accurate fps as they vary masivley between guns!
