I've just got the SE as well. Got the 64g one...I think the bigger memory helps the phone not work so hard so potentially helps battery.

If you don't use the Internet that much you will find a big difference in battery life. I no longer need to charge it constantly like my 5s.

iPhones still send a signal even if switched off I think.

Friend told me iPhone has a GPS thing . He turned mine off. Apparently his Mrs was watching where his phone was on the internet and caught him being a naughty boy . Might be thing to think about if your out and about and get caught . If they can find out where your phone has been they could put you in a certain place at a certain time

He's right mate.his wife was probably using find my iPhone.but you can go into the phone and It will tell you the address.date.time of arrival time spent there and time of leaving.

And will gather the info for months and months and is easy to find on the phone.

When out hunting leave the phone in the house.

Get a oneplus 3 I paid £309 there £329 now but still save a ton over even a discounted iPhone and just as good if not bettet

Honestly mobile phones these days have awful battery lives due to just the sheer amount of power they require in order to run. It's practically a portable pc running on a watch battery. New batteries that double the life are supposedly due out this/next year, but i have a funny feeling they still won't be able to keep up with the speed and power of most mobile phones.

And how many people have had their dogs run something interesting and filmed the run,or took pics,delete them all they want they can be recovered,first thing plod will do if they think your up to something with the hounds when they arrest you is look through your phone if they are in any way savvy,maybe confiscate your "smart" phone,the same as they confiscate a burglars footwear lets say,because the phone tells them a story........
