Can you put a pic up of your own 120 next to the other two you have for a size comparison, also is there a red filter with itlike others ??? cheers

I will get you a pic mate no probs. I aren't sure about red filters. You would have to ask D. Lloyd.

 

In my experience with the LEDs they don't respond to red filters as well as the halogens do. You lose a lot of the power.

I have a 150 of Lloyd on here, runtime on it is cracking, I've had 5 - 5 1/2 hours lamping out of mine, seems fairly robust, can't go wrong for a rabbiting lamp ?

The lads that have seen these lamps in the winter when gear is kicking on and you have to give long slips, seeing that they are not up to the job so trying to tell lads to keep their money in their pockets, they have all ready got a better lamp at home are the good guys, they have nothing to gain but to save lads from blowing their money.

He didn't tell me that I could have a free lamp if I bullshitted and said it was the best thing since sliced bread.

 

These lamps won't suit everyone, but they do suit some people, we all lamp different quarry on different ground and have different preferences.

I think they are but i'm not saying your not. I've seen the 150 and the DL 100 and they are not a patch on the 170 that most lads have got, not seen the 120 so is it better than the 170 striker , tracer Gaz and what happens when the bulb goes in these lamps.

I've not got a 170 striker and don't know anyone with one to compare. If anyone in the area with one wants to come and see it alongside the 120 then drop me a PM and we can have a shine and do a comparison.

 

When the bulbs goes its new lamp time as they are LEDs. But they have got a life of 50,000 to 100,000 hours so in reality it's not gonna be an issue. The PCB or or battery will fail before the bulb.

 

The big advantage with the tracers is the variable power option which you don't get with LED lamps.
