No info on good lines or anything but I will say you won't go far wrong with a border as a nice wee companion for your daughter that will do a bit of bushing too, they're grand wee dogs with loads of

Cant go wrong with a Border ....had a couple, lost my last one a few month back 13 yr old, fantastic nose, great bushing /mooching dogs.As a companion dog I cant recomend them highly enough, very sociable without being a pain in the arse and a peice of piss to train compared to your devil dog lol only one downside and thats the price, even unregistered pups are fetching £4/500 if you want KC papers be prepared to spend upto a grand.....

Couldn't care less about papers mate and that's a ridiculous price for a bloody terrier papered or not.

Gnip I have no idea mate, I've seen dogs here that you wouldn't expect to see and they cope well ;)

The daughter is asking about a pup at some point over the next year and unfortunately she has her heart set on a bloody border terrier SO.....

I know SFA about this breed and wondered if anyone has info about a good line. Forget bollocks about underground but I do want the little shit to bush at least, that's the deal with the daughter

Get a Spaniel instead....

 good temps and great for mooching/bushing carnt beat good springer spaniel

There not always the easiest to live with though, no off button!

There was a lad who was on here and moochers who was working Levi oaks Strain of borders which he was digging to regular..think he had a couple of them.. There are a couple of lads still working them for ground work but if you only want it for bushing then most pet borders will have a go at bushing ..
