si brown 8,486
i had one in ,177 for a while but got shot of it after a few months! it was as accurate as any thing else about but the mag use to jamb up a lot and after a while the power dropped right off! not a problem to fix there as basic as they come, you just have to make adjustments to the hammer spring to bring it back up and de grease the mag mech! but if your not one for tinkering id give it a miss!! sit back and wait for floods of buy a hw100 now atb si Quote Link to post

philpot 5,005
I had one but not for long. 1, heavy up front 2, power levels all over the place but generally downwards (11.7-9.?) 3, sticking mag 4, Armex (importer) did not seem interested neither did the RFD so he got NO further business. I spoke to Airtech before I sold it as he had 4 in for similar problems, Carl's words not mine ' the reg will never work for long', he was producing his own reg for this gun as the issue was a common one and growing. If I had kept it, I would have fitted a BSA R10 bottle which was less than half the weight, reduced the barrel length and had the gun regged with an Airtech reg. The bottom line is that it was going to cost about £200 so I part exchanged it for an HW100KT. Good points. Accurate and a shot count of 160 in .22 If I found a s/h one going cheap, I could be tempted and have the work done plus a decent mod and I think it would make a good ratter but then again, there are far better guns out there. I have to be fair however and say some guys have them and love them but I do wonder if they ever chrono them. I have no idea if the guns have been improved on later models, mine was new April last year. Phil Edited August 27, 2016 by philpot 1 Quote Link to post
