Gaz_1989 9,539
I think a lot get on the gear too soon, without understanding the importance of diet. Much better of training natty and getting your diet and lifestyle sorted. I dont think they understand the huge importance of diet as to the training.I don't think it's massively important when on steroids tbh. My cousin's diet is shit and is fairly clueless about training but he looks very well, steroids is the big major factor why he looks good. He trains regularly I'll give him that but if he did it naturally he would be lost....Sorry I disagree, whether on gear or not diet is of major importance. Even on the juice your diet needs to bang on to keep your bf low.Just my opinion atbI don't think this is true, like I said my cousin's abs are showing and he's forever at McDonald's and KFC. He was naturally skinny so he's far from a genetic beast. Steroid impact is massively underrated IMO.... The thing is, imagine what gains he would make if he did eat properly? Why take steroids and put massive strain on your body and risk health problems etc if you aren't gonna get the absoloute maximum possible results while on them? To me they are an aid to an already good physique, good diet and good solid training regime. Too many use them as a shortcut alongside a poor diet. Yes they will get some results. But nothing like the results they could get.
DogFox123 1,379
Oh don't get me wrong if you eat properly and take them the results will be immense but don't kid yourself that a natty who eats well will look as good as a juicer who doesn't take his diet seriously, not in my view anyway. Posted a side by side picture on one side he was massive bloated and awful looking but at the time everybody was impressed by it. On the other he was smaller but looked in much better shape. Folk on gear doing everything right will always beat folk doing it natural. Folk on gear not eating or training right will not always beat folk training and eating well the natural way imo. Of course if you're carrying a lot of body fat and bulk up with steroids you're not going to look as great as being lean and natural. If you're lean to begin with though there's no comparison, no way will you achieve that muscle mass naturally.
C556 351
My thoughts entirely mate. The multi gyms are shite. I was gonna break it down and just use the cables to make a lat pull down or a seated row. And then like you say just get a pull up bar and some decent weights. I would like a squat rack too. Might get my old man to make me one.I hated squats....just can't get the technique correct. Probably trying to lift to heavy and doing it all wrong. For very little money you could knock up a decent set up. It's only the free weights and plates that cost a f***ing fortune. It's worth finding someone who does powerlifting or Olympic style weightlifting to get your squatting technique nailed. It'll help prevent injuries from bad technique, and you won't find a better exercise for lower body strength.
terryd 8,676
When i clicked on this I sort of hoped to see a fine example of a male lurcher or a terrier but deep down I just new But yes to us mere mortals that's quite impressive. Lifting them weights while doing the splits looked well risky
Silversnake 1,099
I have to say he is a powerful beast. He does seem to take some silly risks but when one of your parents propagated with a superhero injuries don't come into consideration I guess... I have to agree that desertbred would take him down and also has far superior morals, especially if you ask him.
