Very nice, though you can call it what you want but to most it's still a Patterdale, no different than any white bodied dog being a Russell.

Agreed most people call a black dog a paterdale but when you've got a nice type psterdale standing next to a nicectype lakeland you can see the difference between them completely different built animals . same as when your judging Russell's you can tell a white Lakeland from a mike off . atb

a lad I used to dig with had one,[brightmore]must be thirty five years back..if my memory serves me well the dog was the spit of yours..it was one if not the first of the blacks I'd seen around this way..cracking looking dog with a really wiry coat..but sadly killed in a kennel fight..

no idea neil..was bill a horseman aswell?? .I'm sure the lad sourced another of him..and I remember him telling me [i'm gonna breed some of the best black workers in the uk.. and with his culling programme,,he probally did..
