They way I look at it, I don't get a free curry from the local Kohi Noor just because I've eaten 4 in the last month, neither do they teach me how to cook like they do... Everyone pays. No exceptions. Although some pay more than others! i like the 'middle line' ? lol , & theres NO WAY, i would (try) teach a customer !,.....(but, thats just me) Quote Link to post

tilimangro 1,013
I did a job for a chap who watched me setting up and asked lots of question so I thought f**k it and answered all his questions His kids let slip he'd bought his own traps should the moles return so I even offered him more advice on how to deal with them as I don't believ it's something you can teach Anyway he paid me when I got home he'd accidentally overpaid me Next day I dropped the money off to him he'd overpaid I've had so much work out of him subsequently including four of his neighbours I quite like the bloke now lol And if you'd have seen how he set his traps up you'd have pissed yourselves 2 Quote Link to post
Torquemada 288
We have all been to jobs where the customer has had a go themselves. One time this fella was watching me put some Duffus in, and he said, "wow, that's how you do it." So I asked him what he had been doing, and he admitted he had been putting them in the other way up 1 Quote Link to post
tilimangro 1,013
This chap has scissor traps with the triggers tightly nestled in facing upwards so the moles could run through the traps unhindered lol Quote Link to post
earth-thrower 494
Often, in the past, a favourite method of a 'householder' (or their gardener ? ),who had a go,...... was too try and somehow 'install' a mole trap (usually a scissor type), in the 'molehill' itself !,.....lol & when you turned up, youd be told something like "the traps have been there three weeks, & aint been touched" !
