I agree with most of whats been said, but on the subject of religion, and everyone moaning about muslims taking over etc......how many here are practising christians, are willing to admit it, and will do something about it, by supporting the faith of this country...eg christianity, because if you wont, you havent got an argument.

Personally, I don't think being a Christian is at the heart of the matter - I am totally unreligious but I do feel strongly that it is wrong for these people who are not committed to joining in the British - not Christian - way of life to expect to get all the benefits of living here and imposing their values on us. They should go elsewhere - especially the ones who were born here but derived from immigrant stock who feel it is their right to carry out terrorist atrocities, such as bombing public transport etc etc.

Well as I've said before, the ethnics are not all bad,and some of them are embarrassed by the shite our PC brigade come out with,regarding ways to not upset them, merry christmas signs for instance. Now I don't feel insulted when I drive through the area with happy diwali signs everywhere, so why should merry christmas bother a muslim/hindu/sikh/ etc??? Seems to me this "multiculture society" as they call it is simply us locals putting up with all the others, there is little integration actually attempted. I can get on with anybody, but still hold the view,that ethnics who are not prepared to live with us, and want to make a Islamic state of the UK should be shown the door rapidly. The government and "right on" prats in local councils are the main cause of the demanding element among the immigrant population.

The school my brother and siste go to only built this year has 100 cctv cameras in and a full time pc plod and all the rules are really stupid my mum works at a playgroup you would never belive what checks and cources they have to do and now she has 5 foriginers(cant spell) who cant speak english they have a goverment paid translator go in evry day to help.............WHY they should learn english befourr we let them over here

Maltenby is right...we all hear the same complaints everyday from everyone but our country is run by people who just say words and sit on pannels/focus groups/committees.

Having said that...what's the alternative?

I've just come back from France and the average bloke over there would agree with everything said on here.Workers in Paris are seriously p****d off at the moment and hate the way the country is run.

Friends of mine recently went to Australia with view to emigrating as they are sick of the UK for these reasons.

They came back after a months trial saying "the grass is not greener after all".

Im as racist as the next man, but ive got to grim and bare it. Great Britain is no longer, we are now the United Kingdom and maybe not that united. But ive changed my philosophy with regards to immigrants and that is as long as they are willing to work and not spounge of this country then best of luck to them. I know alot of them come here just for our benefit system and an easier way of life, but i also see the low life scum, druggies and piss heads with no education, disapline or respect for anyone and everyone they come across, they prey on the weak and frail and just take what they want. But unfortunatly there are as many of our younger generation involved and not just immigrants or coloured people.

 

 

And another thing i love about people who want 'Great Britain' to be all white, how many of you support their cause, buy their goods, takeaways, corner shops, cheap booze, market stalls, ect. You dont see their earnings being spent in the local pub or in local shops, no they all buy from cash and carries and send money to their families so they can save up to send another member over to work unofficially in their shops. So as the saying goes United we stand, Divided we fall and i beleave were heading for the latter unless thing change and change fast BNP

true i used to know a lad who was on the dole, a pisshead and what i call a feckin waster he complained that there wasnt any jobs because all the polish had toke them but this wasnt true because he thought having a minimum wage job was benith him i said but there the jobs the polish had filled the jobs that people didnt what i would employ a polish over him any day because at least the polish man would work hard. the waster needs to get some backbone sort his life out and get a job and stop scoonging of the government because i dont want to pay for addiction, millions of children and i definatly dont want to pay for you to sit on the couch watching jeramy kyle on sky sipping your special brew.

just my opinion here but i think the problem is too many people..... hardly room enough to move around.. no one likes wars but you have to admit that there are several reasons for wars... population control to start with... some jack ass wants to own it all and pisses off another jack ass so he and his jack ass friends confront the other jack ass.... only thats how its ALWAYS been. today however... the difference is the same as too many rats living in the same cage. they eventually turn on each other and start shredding each other to pieces for no reason. Locusts also swarm when there are too many. watched a documentary about "Why locusts swarm" .. has to do with friction. sensors on their legs, when touched too often by others of their kind flips a switch in their tiny brains.. telling them "to find somewhere else to live, food is running out, not enough space around them" .... i think humans have the same thing... we want, to start with, to be around people just like ourselves.... but we also want to be away from people when ever we choose. however today that is NOT possible. its hard to find people like "us" (especially if you like hunting, bulldogs, and guns) no matter where you go there is a keep out sign or someone making threats and calling you a brutal savage and your dogs are dangerous too!

My first proper post, so I await criticism

I agree with much of what you say. However, as far as saying some of the younger generations are lazy, I disagree. This country has seen a massive change in the last few years. Many of the manufacturing work, which once accounted for a large proportion of employment for school leavers who may not have been academically gifted, has been moved aboard where labour is far cheaper since the cost of living in places like India, china and the like, is far cheaper. This has left a massive dent in the labor market. We also have a system called ‘ positive discrimination’ which means that firm’s have to employ a certain number of people from non white backgrounds- so who’s most likely to be unemployed

As many here have also stated, immigration has caused problems also. Ok you may say that the polish are prepared to work cheaper than English, but there’s a good reason for this. Many polish, Rumanian etc, are here on temporary work visa’s, meaning they pay less tax, they also tend to come alone, leaving family members behind so they are able to take cheap Bed and Breakfast accommodation and send money back home where cost of living is far lower. As for being politically correct, what foolishness. This country and many of our parent’s and grandparents fought for free speech and yet we have allowed our government to brainwash us into believing free speech is wrong and as a result many people are afraid to speak out against injustice.

Due to the massive influx of people, legal immigrants and otherwise, our hospitals are in crisis, educational standards are down ( partly due to school budgets being spent on English classes for those who’s English is a second language) and social housing is almost non existent with around 40 thousand families living in temporary accommodation of a “poor standardâ€.

The last point to consider is this country is built on materialism, easy come, and easy go attitude. We spend far more and save far less. Some people from else where have different value’s regarding saving for their future and that of their children.
