allgame 0 Posted December 7, 2007 Report Share Posted December 7, 2007 ya g'day i was wondering if it hindered or helped a ferret depending on its eye colour i heard of some old lady that red eyed ferrets couldnt see as well in the day light but sore better at night but i wasnt sure how true this was seeing as how she was only a breeder and not a hunter and smelled way to much like the animals to be anything but half insane but it intreged me is there a difference between black or reds eye other then colour Quote Link to post

Julia 0 Posted December 7, 2007 Report Share Posted December 7, 2007 It is true that some albinos in animals (fx Rats) has reduced eyefunction, they are seen moving their heads to focus better (there is a expression for the move, but I only know the danish word). But not in ferrets, my albino has no problem seeing things. Especially treats. Quote Link to post
