Daniel cain 45,146 Posted August 25, 2016 Report Share Posted August 25, 2016 Do you need one for the canal danial.canals,drains,lakes,ponds,rivers-if your fishing tidal stretches on a river then no need-for the sake of 27 pound for a coarse/non migrating trout or if your flush it's about 70 pound for salmon sea trout and that covers you for the coarse fish aswell .get caught without one and all your gears gone along with your motor.atb dc Quote Link to post
