Thought I would push my self with the free hand shooting, it is good way to build back strength. Most of the time though I shoot sitting and with hand supported on a tripod. philpot 4,992
I think free standing is blooooomin hard for anyone (except maybe Viz) but with your condition it must be a hell of lot harder Renos. Well done you. I find myself taking most of my hunting shots free standing, not because I want to but the rabbit or pigeon has gone by the time I manage to get down to kneel and then hope there is a good branch to get back up again, perhaps why I miss a lot...................... Keep at it Renos. Phil 1 Quote Link to post

Hydropotesinermis 724
Ooh touchy... I was trying to help, and I wasn't going to post again but seeing as you went all menstrual... Mate if you read what I was saying the strength in your arms doesn't have anything to do with it. If you have the strength to lift the rifle build your position correctly then your muscular strength shouldn't be an issue. You should be looking for bone to bone support. The stance is hard to adopt and takes practice but you will find it steadier when it comes to holding the rifle. I don't know how you are holding your rifle now but if your arms are getting tired there is a good chance I could help you be able to maintain the freehand position longer and shoot tighter groups. Why post a video on here of your shooting if you don't want people to comment... You just wanted people to pat you on the back and say well done. Well done you shot some paper. 1 Quote Link to post
