Give it a chance, anyone can go out to kill an animal, give it fair law and dont run it mob handed, if the dogs arnt good enough single handed with fair law they are jank ! I know a dog has to start somewhere but they obviousley werent pups not my cup of tea

so would you say fox hunts are the same it might be there way ov training the dogs

Hunting with dogs was banned in this country because of the support antis got because of over exaggerating. I will say it again for what ever reason it must be a necessary part of the dogs training.

The reason hunting with dogs is banned in this country is because the antis say its pointless and cruel!

 

 

In my eyes this is totally different. The quarry is bagged to be run over and over again, has no chance of escape and is not run on its own terms. Nothing to do with hunting, the animals I hunt are on their own ground and have a chance of escape.

If people can't differentiate between hunting in a wild state and releasing tame quarry then nothing I can type will alter their opinion........

 

 

Theres my thinking. Its all down to each persons aceptable standards, we could anaylise each method of hunting and disagree or agree with whats acceptable, as I said I don't have a problem with anythibng being hunted in a natural wild state..........

I'm pretty sure Borzois are sometimes called 'stranglers' because they're sent in at the end of the chase to finish the wolf off. Is it possible they're training them to go in for the kill at the end of a long course?

Must say it turned my stomach to see a cowed tethered animal run down like that, and since the Borzois didn't make the kill at the end anyway I'm not sure what training value it would have tho........

Here we go round the mullberry bush, reread the post I said tame not pet, its certainly not just been caught to be handled like that so I'd guess its kept as a captive animal for coursing..............This could run and run, you have your opinions, I have mine and it would be a boring world if we all agreed.

it doesnt but it doesnt look very wild does it .its attatched to a rope so it can be used again and again and...you get my drift.its not very sporting is it but glad dawn put this link up because there is some mad shit on u tube!!!!like the eagle taking the deer !did you see the rope attached to the deers leg ????????no i thought not

They maybe teaching the dogs to surround the wolf and keep it at bay, who knows. This is a hunting website not a anti hunting website!

i agree simoman and we are supposed to still be sportsmen(and women)some people do see what we do as cruel but things like this make it a lot worse .oooh lets tie aa wolf up give it no chance then release the dogs and then at the end lets take it back home and do it again tommorrow so it can endure this torment again.and i still think the eagle taking the deer is cool!!!
