MickC 1,825
We struggle every season, nothing new there. Moyes lost his first derby game but his predecessors won there derby games,is it a good omen or a bad one ?

Brigzy 1,298
Moyse's interview on sky sports today paints a depressing picture. He a says they will be in the relegation fight again and there will be no dramatic changes from the previous four years.....not what the players or the supporters want to hear ! gnasher16 30,261
As Ron Greenwood used to say a club is only as strong as the players it can produce.........when hit by injuries todays clubs have to rely on its youth only the top 4 or 5 clubs in the land can go and buy their way out of trouble........managers can give youth an opportunity but they cant create it. arcticgun 4,548
Arctic that's why under BSA we were virtually unbeatable from end of January . And now he manages your Country What's managing the country prove? It's not an optimal job in football anymore mate, sad state of affairs but true, I doubt many young and upcoming managers covert that as the pinnacle of their career times have chenged Virtually unbeatable ? That's one way too look at it, you survived on the misfortune of others just as much as anything that's fact, Sam left cos he knew he would end up sacked he isn't wasn't and never would be the man too rebuild Sunderland he a finger in dike type and offski just like happened
arcticgun 4,548
One thing Ive always been proud of Boro for is we have produced a few tidy players over the years nice pool of talent come out safc benefitted from odd one too

West ham a some tidy young players at the moment, I feel slaven will give them every chance, I wouldn't be surprised if West ham turn out a few top players in the next few years.
delswal 3,819
Arctic are you for real BSA left for ENGLAND the job HE has ALWAYS wanted. FACT. Who refused the job? And who else wanted it? Lets hear your facts
arcticgun 4,548
It was the poorest selection of England managers for years imho no real exciting talent was even in the running I'm just not an allardyce fan mate, he just another mercenery clubs go too when they out of luck n backs against the wall West Ham Sunderland now England jobs no one fancies that not a slight against your club it's a fact of life for teams like ours they not quiet big enough or successful enough, so we take chances usually worse o Es when we up against it We see his England goes under Sam, he no Roy hodgson st least he had a proper pedigree and look how he done, this won't be all Sams fault when it goes tits up though the players will have too shoulder there portion of the game Would you on part record welcome beck Sam and get shit of moyse? You already know where Sam got you, where did he get any other team ? You better off under moyse for sure youse are We don't need anyone else at all until we know if these guys we bought in for the job in hand are gunna go early indications are there will gel three points off two games with a new team not bad could of suffered stage fright, we faded a little scold half in both games but that will he sorted
blackmaggie 3,376
Max it seems like you bang the same tune season after season regardless who takes over you need what most would call a spine of a team surely BSA would of put those players inplace to account for injuries sales etc and after giving BSA and moyse there first chance at management I would say you have a better manager now and didnt you want cattermole playing regular last season
MickC 1,825
Not a fan of Moyes tbh but Allardyce only kept us up by the skin of our teeth for all the supposed hype that come with him,and it was Allardyce fault we only drew with Newcastle in the last derby.(imo) Got to give Moyes a chance and get behind him,you cant judge him after a few games.Judge him at the end of the season when its over and only then judge him on what he has or has not achieved .
