We done ok last week dominated most the first half n hung out for the draw not bad for first premier game in years, today they be keen too make a statement , big three points for either team too be fair cos they both gunna need every point they can rustle up Quietly confident here for a Boro win but we got fair amount of new players settling in so who know Sunderland maybe edge it, thing is for us we the new boys nobody expects that much You going too the game max ? The fact we still got most of the north east team still in exsistence is really something imho likes of darlo pools spennymoor Boro all faced gravest of hard times, Newcastle not had it easy and they biggest club in north to be fair about it even they struggled in all aspects of the modern game, Sunderland the same takes a lot of elements too come together too succeed and prosper now imho so it's a tribute too the fans half the teams still exsist and pull in revenue too help the lower leagues stay afloat Quote Link to post Share on other sites

arcticgun 4,548 Posted August 21, 2016 Report Share Posted August 21, 2016 Injuries etc no excuse same for us bedding players in the result will stand whatever comes but your right when you say if we struggle today we likely in for torrid time this year but hey ho the championship took us long enough too get out of and I saw some class football over that period we had too dig deep too get where we are, Aitor first Boro manager I've had time for in years we been very lucky to have him in charge he a realist and progressive backed by one of the most respected passionate fair and astute club owners in modern history Steve Gibson, one thing with us Boro fans is we always behind the club owner, we small in number but we love our club and maybe one day just maybe, we've had it all over the years ups n downs, big players come n go, old timers on last legs resurrections, endless cup defeats lol a win and a euro final, plenty too shout about lol Quote Link to post Share on other sites

It's been enough too keep ourselves afloat mate I know the cuts we had too go through when we failed too get back up too premier you still have all them wages too pay gibbo as most knows bank rolls the whole thing he has too do it right or it drag his other buisness under then he and we gone forever We not team who wants or seeks massive money coming into rescue us imho we Boro always been the same we realists who enjoy the roller coaster be nice too win week in week out but we be deluded too think that gunna happen can't have three delusional sets of fans representing the north east can we ??
