barrywhite 282
i made my own..... cheap camera , cheap battery , cheap tv screen the things that cost a bit were the lens that replaces the wide angle lens in the security camera and the ir light . it cost 70 quid about for the lot . with the correct scope the sight picture is fantastic . the problem is there is all this stuff on your gun but it can go day and night vision eazy . if i hade my time again i would go the proton stuff . i also have an old school yukon night sight very heavy and very poor picture. Jonjon79 13,358
The kits from NVUK are pretty good. They match my NS Viper for image quality and range. I think they can still be had for around £150. Quote Link to post
philpot 5,069
The outfit I bought from a guy on ebay is still going with some tweeks and to be honest it is far sharper image than the Nite Site Viper I bought from Mac although the Viper is both lighter and a better range. There is a chap known as 'some bloke' (youtube and airgun forum) who makes lens holders and handles to make spotting scopes which I am going to use my original NV for, I think. I need an old SLR camera 50mm lens with a screw thread to have a play around with to see if it can be done. 1 Quote Link to post
