Yep used to be lot of twitchy shite coming out newport/Cardiff wayWe had 2 both been spot on with temps same as the rotty we had years ago. bird 9,872 Posted August 19, 2016 Report Share Posted August 19, 2016 Maybe I am an old fcuker out of touch, but when I was a youngster, it was rare to hear of dogs attacking folk, never mind killing people, but then again in years gone by dog's where not fashion accessories and kept like Casso said " kept without stimulation or socialisation " Dogs kept at home without socialising become extremely territorial,but then again some breeds naturally become territorial, you get a territorial dog the size of an American Bull dog or the strength of a Pit Bull and you have you're hands full if they decide to flip, grown men would struggle never mind a woman, why do people not think of the breed they take on? And the capabilities of themselves should an unfortunate situation arise? Two of my uncles bought one, a dog and a bitch. The dog was fine but his brothers bitch was very unstable, fine out and about but in the house if you got your head near hers she'd go for you. Apparently she was mistreated. My brother had a pup off them after they were bred and he was very untrustworthy. I decided to take him for a walk with my girlfriend at the times son, he was fine outside on the lead fussing him and such. Got the boy in the back seat of the car then let the dog in the boot. Bad idea, the dog went crazy growling like mad over his head. I ran and gave the dog a kicking, very close call. The dog was massive, would have crushed the kids skull like a grape. The Labrador is one of the most likely breeds in the UK to bite, of course a smart ass like you knows that being an expert on dogs and all that.... Loads of exciting kids screaming and running around, I wouldn't even have a lapdog present. General lee 979 Posted August 20, 2016 Report Share Posted August 20, 2016 I had a American bulldog come from Oxford way a big strong dog pulled me over a couple of times when out hunting he would go through bushes like a spaniel he took a few different types of game he got in a few tussles as well but never got hurt and he was bomb proof never so much as a funny look to any person but I wouldn't have another one to many people breeding rubbish and I wouldn't want the worry of it biting someone 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
