bird 10,013 Posted August 19, 2016 Report Share Posted August 19, 2016 well being honest , its the 1st time in 30 years that i wanted this warm weather.Ive got a new road bike, and this last 3 weeks been out in the sun riding it, and its been Brill, just started to break my arse in to the saddle lol. i am 64 now yeh old fart, but getting fitter doing 1 hour every day prob 8-10 mile . i ve been in the lurcher game 30 years, and started to get bit bored with it,Buck my 1x gsdx gey done brill he took every thing i put him on ticked all the boxes for me deff i still work him.But my energies/ desire are deff in riding my bike now, and not in my lurchers . maybe ive come to the end of the road with working lurchers, and needed a new outlet in my life, well my bike deff given me that . yeh so roll on the sunshine , feck the wet.windy weather .!! 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Come on bird hold your hands up you got a motorised one because you can't handle the hills lol, i did buy electric bike before , but thing was to heavy for going up the hills, because you still have to pedal bloody thing . they only assist with riding not do it for you .? you are right where i live alot of hills to deal with, but this new road bike got good gears (21) and it deff helps me.But same again it comes down to me putting the work in , just done another 1 hour with it, must be mad at my age lol 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

iworkwhippets 12,890 Posted August 19, 2016 Report Share Posted August 19, 2016 I did have a little folding bike Ray. peddled my goolies off and got nowhere, i bought missen this a few months back. and its had some humpy. keeps me fit and i enjoy it, but theres nowt like being out in the fields wi dog n stinkers doing what we love, i will never tire of the game, and when its my time to go, stroke or whatever, i hope its out in the field. eh, but im not ready yet you old bugger, i can hear those bunnies call my name 4 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
