hoggysreels 76
Took the plunge and bought an AA Tx200 (.22) .. quite a learning curve. It was between the Tx, HW97 or Walther LGU. .. reason l decided on the AA was simply availability/price .. l'm guessing there isn't much between any off them. Anyhow, just got to buy some pellets for it, only shot 10 pellets l had through it as yet. Was told to get AA field 5.52mm pellets as a start point .. cheers 2 Quote Link to post
PeskyWabbits 464
They're good guns, you will be well pleased with it and you will keep it for years (until you swap it for a PCP, then later you will buy another). Quote Link to post
Jonjon79 13,358
Fantastic rifles - good choice Give FAPs or JSB RS a go. They're a nice lightweight diablo. My .22 TX does really well with them. Quote Link to post

hoggysreels 76
I'm thinking of joining a HFT club, hence the reason l purchased the TX. Hunting wise l've a couple of pcp's plus a few shotguns (enjoy air rifles over shotguns) .. Understand Mac what you mean when you say "good gun but not for me" .. my mate loves a certain rifle manufacturers offerings, but try as l might, they're not my cuppa tea. Going to chrono it today .. only got a few Daystate pellets to use and they were given to me to just try out the TX. I can hardly get them into the barrel, tightest fit l've ever come across. Will order a couple of tins today, though not the Daystate pellets! Quote Link to post

jonnie bravo 572
Sound just means you don't need to buy umpteen tins of pellets to find the right one Quote Link to post
hoggysreels 76
Used Daystate 14.6gr pellet for a chrono check .. TX doesn't like them at all. Had trouble putting pellets into the breach (5.53mm to big me thinks) ..they were all l had available. Highest 572.3 ft/ps = 10.62 lbft Lowest 539.6 ft/ps. = 9.44 lbft Quote Link to post
