delswal 3,819
Every time I see a young chavvy b&satrd with pit bull or pit x on a lead I always feel like stabbing the b&stards…………………………………………………………… But I guess going round stabbing young chavs is not one of my better ideas. Nik_B 3,790
I got attacked by a rodesian ridgeback in someones house and it was one of the scariest things thats happened to me me ,that also got me by the knee I punched it in the head about four times it let go and then came back for more I kicked it under its chin and it still managed to get my other leg punched it again and when it let go again I jumped in the bathroom and slammed the door. it had ripped both legs off my pants and I had two bleeding knees and I was stood in the bathroom looking like huckleberry finn in my now cut off jeans and I was shaking like a shitting dog and white as a ghost, I think it might have been a different outcome if I was outside in the open ,the owner of the dog said it had never bitten anyone before and because I had dreadlocks at the time he put it down to the dog thinking I was a wog I was watching my lab in the guardan a few months back when I saw something mmoving near my fense. I knew it was a dog so ran out as my lab seems to get in trouble with other dogs. Before I knew it this large very fury dog just smashed head first though the fense and latched on to my lab. I ran over and grabbed it by the scruff to try and pull it off at which point started to realise I wa holding on to something that could probably kill me...it was fecking scarey I just couldn't get it off no matter what I did so I let go and was linning up to kick it in the head when the owner jumped in to the garden. The dog had a face like a bear with a curled tail. If I had had a few seconds to think I would have taken a knife but it happened so fast.

This dog had a face like a bear, probably looked cute hell as a pup. The closest I got to hownit looked was chow chow but it wasn't as furry as that. F**king strong as an ox though, I'm not big but it was like trying to pull a lump of rock, it just wouldn't move. My lab left a trail of blood all round the house and he's not a small dog he's 32 kg and very strong but it just nailed him to the ground and wiuldnt let go. It's easy to say what I would do in that situation but the speed it happened was so quick and I found myself out of my depth in seconds...

ryaldinhio 4,531
Some right comments on here. My missus has 2 westies and while walking them I have had a few hairy moments with dogs attacking them. worst one was a german shepard that cam running out someones house as we walked past gate. no confrontation just attacked. and in that split second you react. I didnt think I will lay my life on the line for this little dog, I just reacted and booted the f**kin thing. it disappeared back in the house. then I had a set to with the owner on the street. Onky when I got home and calmed down did I notice it had managed to get hold of our dog near his eye. half an inch more and itd been a hefty vet bill.

He had one dash out and dive on his butt one day and I had a job trying to kick the sod out the way while spinning around with my dog try to keep his pointy end off it though he didn't want to fight it just wanted it to sod off. Now every time he see's one he acts up but we work on it. Little dogs get away with kicking up a stink cause every one thinks they are daft little things.

Ywet another lesson learned for me as a dog owner!Hindsight mate and sometimes in different unexpected certain situations it's sometimes hard to know how to react in that exact moment, you can only go on emotions while weighing up all possabilities and outcomes along with who else is present at that short space of time then sometimes right or wrong decisions are made but and then later reflect on it and as you say learn from it..
