Ive been offered this , shotgun , second hand but in mint condition

and he want 1000 pounds for it , what do you think its worth , and are they any good

Sounds about right mate if its a minter, and yes they are very good guns indeed,but it needs to fit you remember, so if it needs any altering, a bit of gentle negotiation would be in order mate.

I used to own one in 20bore. Silver pigeon it was called..really good gun,lovely balance.

i've got the 686 bretta 30in 12g, and its great gun , good for clays, and live stuff, very good reliable gun deff .

Without a doubt one of the best and the money sounds good. I sold my old 686 and have recently bought the Silver Pigeon with all the bits for £1050 so I say good buy. Jok.

Bought mine a year ago from a dealer for 1250, used but mint. Probably put 2000 cartridges through it from 21g to 50g and it hasn't missed a beat. Lovely gun. Only thing Ive done is replace the recoil pad with one of the newer microfibre ones.
