Thanks!. Was out today , bolted two nice young foxes out of the cover around the burrows , i didnt get in there and the mungrel had chased one around the back in and red terrier was hunting. Black dog could see it and keen as ever , one fox came back across the field , had only terrier on lead and gutted too because i missed a great photo of it . when another place before i left across to permision and the was machine working the spuds , terrier was loose , i heard a shot go off , i went back up the field to them, he waved me over , one of the men had a stick in the machine , and was stopped .thought all while what the fk , dog slugged. Farmers had dogs , anyway , man hide shooting crows he said , and wouldnt shoot me dog , happy, i walked back down , there was the nutty dog running up .big relief , i went to earth again , nothin there, walked past farmers ,who were grand , and thanked them , and dogs digging on a rat when got back towards vehicle
