Bsa Lightning Xl Tactical .22

Recommended Posts

Not long ago I was thinking of getting myself a Spring Air rifle, my choice was one and then between Three Rifles. The BSA Lightning, Weihrauch HW99S and the Weihrauch HW95. At first after a long time of contemplation the BSA was discarded, but then after a long rethink I finally made up my mind and handed over some of my hard earned cash for a .177 and .22 BSA Lightning XL Tactical Rifles {was before and still is now my first choice of rifle}.

Some will say that they are sh*t, no problem and so be it, as I am more than happy with both my S*T Rifles. {If you can use SH*T then you can use anything} They fit me like a glove, BUT And More to the point made in the UK by British Workers. OK so BSA is foreign owned, but someone kindly inform me what that was once Great about Britain is not now days?

I have not long returned to Air Rifle Shooting so it is taking and will take some time to re adjust. Some may know that for me PCP Air Rifle shooting is a new thing, and having my own problems the taking of some time to re adjust is fine by me. I was weaned on Springer’s as a child in the 1960s up until when I found other interest in the early 1980s {things that you snort, smoke, and those that you drop} In the words of my famous Greek Cousin. Loads of Money and no F***ing Brains.

BSA Lightning XL Tactical .22 and Air Arms Diabolo Field 16 Grains. Hawk Eclips 3-12-50 AO IR Mil-Dot Scope at 10x.

Twenty-Two Yards Sitting with Hand Supported on Tripod. I am happy with my progress and my rifles, and as we all know, that is all we can ever ask for.

All the best
