Gaz_1989 9,539
Fancied a sandwich today. Had some nice steaks in so thought I would see what I could do. Trimmed the steaks, chopped up a red onion and sliced some peppers, then knocked up a bit of a marinade with some beef stock, peri-peri seasoning, a glug of real ale, plenty of natural honey and a teaspoon of mustard and loads of garlic. Left this for 10 hours in the fridge... Then I chucked it all in the wok. When the steak was cooked I removed the steak and the juices and kept stir frying the onion and peppers... Warmed a couple of paninis under the grill and then added the onion, peppers and steak before topping with Stilton and grilling for a few more seconds... A couple of hash browns finished the job...
