scothunter 12,609
I got them years ago when i broke my knee. Took 2 and threw the rest in the bucket. f***ing rather suffer the pain than go through what they did. Diazepam lol they wont help his pain. Diclofenic are not bad for a serious pain injury.
flipbull 1,139
When mine goes they usually give dehydracodeine, diazipam and diclofenic. Get up and move about as often as you can.

Blackbriar 8,569
My missus had them, for neuropathic pain, but she stopped them as they gave her nightmares and them most appalling headaches the next morning (quite a common side effect, I'm told). You will also build a tolerance of them quite quickly, so you'll need more and more - they can cause addiction ! Your body metabolises the drug into a chemical similar to morphine...... I buggered my knee, so I took a couple - the box says "may cause drowsiness".......it should say "don't make any plans" !!
Brewman 1,192
I did my back in trapping one of the nerves and the doc gave amyltriptylene and that keeps it down and non addictive. If it's muscle pain I've been some suped up version of Co codamol. Spanish ibrufen works wonders as well.
scothunter 12,609
Solpodol are ok if you bang three in one go
Gaz_1989 9,539
f**k them pain killers what make your head go funny. The dissolvable co-codamol are pretty good, 8mg codein 500mg paracetamol. When I ruptured 2 discs in my back and tore the main ligament these took the edge off. I've just broken my ankle in 2 places and they tried to give me tramadol but I said f**k that and had the 3 cocodamol and again these took the edge off. Still in agony but it's manageable. Save tramadol for real pain like if you lose a leg.
Nik_B 3,790
Don't take diclofenic if you have any stomach problems, I take lansoprasol and they caused me loads of pain.
