si brown 8,486
nice shooting si . what other pellet you tried in hw100 .22 cheers toby I've tried all sorts in all sorts of head sizes too! all like shotgun patterns, the domes are that good that i bought a ,177 hoping id get the same accuracy with a wider choice of pellets but that was sh!te too and got recalled!! the domes will knock rabbits down all day at 60m i wouldn't dream of doing that if i wasn't 100% sure of the performance! so I've done with the 100s, when the 177 gets back its financing a s510 ultimate sporter atb si Quote Link to post

philpot 5,005
Extremely well put Mitch. It is the same with cars, we buy a car and it has faults, before we know where we are, that car would never darken the drive again. I feel this way about some cars which is unfair as many people own them and love them. I think it is fair to say however that Daystate do not seem to care about their customers and the money invested in a product which is very poor and that is out of order. I would love one of these guns but I cannot afford one but even if I could, I would be nervous about buying one UNLESS a second hand one came up whose history I actually knew or of course if cheap enough, send it to Carl to make it right. I really hope your love affair continues Si as she is a pretty little thing. Phil 1 Quote Link to post

I've had sh!te look with hw pcps but I've not called them crap and slagged them cos a lot of you lads have good ones, just how it is so.. is it worth the money ?! id say so but thats just MY opinion atb si Quote Link to post

I would have another daystate tomorrow but daystate need to change big time like there QC , customer care , and started installing regs in stead of the mickey mouse Harper slingshot valve the money you pay for them ,you should be getting a top gun ,with the right components in . I know you love yours and hope it stays that way and the way it shoots i can't see you having any problems , as most problems start straight from the box This is my opinion and many other too 2 Quote Link to post
stealthy1 3,964
When I asked my local gun shop about a Daystate, he said he wouldn't order me one, because if it went wrong, Daystate were a bitch to deal with, and he didn't want to fall out with me just because I would have taken it out on him. So I bought a 100 instead, had it years and still no problems, and mine is the first of the bayonet filling cylinders to come out, before all the other companies copied it. Ask at your local gun shop Mac, if they think they can sort any problems with Daystate, then give one a go. 1 Quote Link to post

Interestingly Stealthy, my local RFD has reached a similar decision after battling with Daystate over a gun which, if I remember correctly, only left the shop a few days earlier and Daystate didn't find fault on their behalf. This went on for weeks. One thing I don't understand, why would a successful English company, capable of high standing in both UK and worldwide markets, be prepared to loose everything by poor QC and p1ss off most of the customers who have spent hard earned cash and a lot of it, to the point, like Mitch and many others, that they will never buy from that company again. There is simply no logical business sense in the way Daystate conduct themselves to both their dealers nor end users and that is a tragic shame. Phil 2 Quote Link to post
