If that had been some white lad it would never have been dragged up again. It would have ended with no convictions. It certainly woukdnt have had the mother being made a baroness! f***ing ridiculous

They completely re engineered the criminal justice system to try and convict people that had been found not guilty........

Would you let it go if it was your lad, or brother ? ? Atb Flacko

It's utter bollocks, don't know why they don't just leave the lads alone.......it's political and there is no way in gods green earth them boys would ever get a fair trial at all, not even for a f***ing parking ticket.

If it was my son I would hound the police every day. Hopefully it closes with all the people responsible being convicted.

The people responsible or the people that the papers have been accusing for years?.......

Like wilf said it is has went way beyond a murder enquiry. Politics and appeasing the black community.

Seems depending who or what you are these days decides on how much man hours and money is thrown into a case. Just like the mcaan enquiry. I would happily strangle those pair!

I haven't Googled any figures, but I'd bet that millions of pounds and tens of thousands of man hours have been spent on this. There have been marches, demonstrations and his mother has been made a peer.....Christ, even Jesse Jackson jumped on the bandwagon at one point !

My query would be whether such resources are made available on all murder cases. Black kids kill black kids with frightening regularity (in London particularly), but I don't see the same outpourings, the same amount of stones left unturned. I certainly don't see appeals for new witnesses 23 years after some gang member got stabbed in ruck in Peckham !

Am I being cynical, or has his death, as terrible as it was, become such a "cause celebre" simply because he was killed by white men ?
