Deerhound X On The Lamp Before The Ban

My old Deerhound x a long time ago! I am not sure what he actually was but he was about 27" but had a slight frame so he may of had a slither of saluki in him but it must of been diluted if he did. Top class lamping dog he took all game. My uncle acquired him, the lad just swapped him for a ferret as he didn't have time for him. He was a bit mangey and skinny - built him up, gave him time and he turned out a classy dog. Shame the picture is crap he was and nice bridle cast in blue and that was his name, Blue.

Cracker! Something about the deer hound I love, so laid back - absolutely cool as a cucumber but when the step on the field they fear nothing and take everything in there stride.
