Guest Lord B
Just bought my first terrier after more than a few years of gun dogs, a Patterdale from good working stock. Are there any working terrier clubs in the Welsh borders area, Shrops, Powys or North Wales?? Quote Link to post

The Fell & Moorland is a Rescue club it also has Shows and sometimes Social events. You can do a lot worse than join the F&MWTC. If you don't like the set up or the people,or in my case live a fair distance from the venue, join anyway and have the peace of mind knowing that there is help on the end of a phone if you need it and all for £10 a year. Guest Lord B
Thanks guys. For £10 a year I don't think you can go wrong like you say, even if its just for advise and support. Quote Link to post

Guest tawny
Just bought my first terrier after more than a few years of gun dogs, a Patterdale from good working stock. Are there any working terrier clubs in the Welsh borders area, Shrops, Powys or North Wales?? better off keeping your selfe to your self mate. i used to be a member in a club once but being out spoken as i am i dident go down well with the rest of the members or the committee. fair due's to them though, they did try, but most were genral mochers, and dident realy have a clue about terrier and lurcher work in general but it was a a good crack. iff you can find a good glub go for it,but there aint many about mate,to fill the needs of genuine terrier and lurcher men like i said keep your selfe to your own or withing a circle off close friends Quote Link to post
