Chicken man - I watched 4 different videos and came up with my own method combining the different methods. There is a very good video about 40 mins long by a Geordie bloke. I used his method of knot and I used an Irish guys method of tying the last ring on. I'm using 2" mesh board. I've settled on the following pattern... 8, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 17 17,17,16,15,14,13,12,11,10,9,8,8 That gives a 4' net. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I got a tip from an old net maker to use your index finger to hold the knot on top of the board instead of your thumb to keep your knots from slipping down.
