johnboynewt 50
Now lads, just a quick one, i used to use my peddle bike up a few old roads near where i live. But ive just had a knee op so its a bit tricky at the mo! Would anyone advise getting a little pit bike or quad to do the job for me? Or would you just stick to the good old walks? Quote Link to post
straight2hand 303
few people on her use quads x country and just let the dogs keep up with them, great way of covering ground at a good pace. But I'm old school and like to do things the hard way! 1 Quote Link to post
roybo 2,873
I have a mountain bike with an electric hub motor ,great for doing the miles, and getting up to a speed you want and just hold it there. Just need to make sure you don't over do it though ,as it reaches over 30mph 1 Quote Link to post

frankel 2,123
I have been getting myself fit running 4/5 mile a night and taking the dogs with me. I'm not rapid but the dogs are in a constant trot. I'll be going on the bike shortly for a few mile and stepping it up as season draws closer. 2 Quote Link to post
Moja 111
Trotting them by the motor, and bike By the motor it's % on grass feilds as Iv a decent bit of permission. The other disused road for nails and make sure we don't see quarry. Quote Link to post
Dave6592 51
Depending on how long your recovery is going to take, I'd say it could be worth buying a cheap quad and selling it when you're able to bike again. Do you have permission on any farms? If you're on good terms with a farmer he may let you take his out to get the dogs fit in exchange for a bottle of whiskey Quote Link to post
johnrussell84 2,832
I tend to just let mine follow the terriers along the hedgerows she gets the odd wee short burst an then back in keeps both ticking over. 1 Quote Link to post
