I always used to use Jungle Formula when we went on holiday to Majorca. Put it on arms legs and face before you go out. Sleep naked on the bed and wake up to an arse full of mozzie bites, that's how I know it works.

Got 7 bites on right fore-arm week before last. Arm like Popeye, all well and good but I kept trying to squeeze spinach down my pipe, and the wife took on the appearance of

Olive Oyl.

I always have been one to get bitten by insects more than anyone else in the house, but this year I've been eaten alive.

What's the best insect repellent to use? Wearing long sleeves and trousers isn't a great option when it's warm like this.

It always helps if you don't smell like a steaming pile of dung ,get a wash and see how that goes you scruffy immigrant

Find your local hunt sabs , they normally have citronella by the bucket load ,its what they run around squirting to try and mask the fox scent line when hounds are chasing (obviously where its legal)

I'm guessing Cyprus like here has the big nasty tiger mosquitoes fuuckers if it does citronella won't work I've tried it and they are immune. Only thing I found that does is tiger balm as mentioned before but you'll smell like a gym ??

Ok. Having thoroughly and rigorously tested one of the above options, I can confirm Avon doesn't work for me. Tried some this morning on my arms and legs before I went in the garden. Time to getting a massive bite behind my knee? Less than a minute. The mrs tried it and she had bites on her arms and legs in a couple of minutes. In fact she seems to have been bitten more with the Avon than without. :hmm:
