British Blue Shark Record Smashed!
Danny Fitch caught this monster 242lb blue shark yesterday off Milford Haven. He was fishing on board shark-fishing legend, Andrew Alsop's boat 'White Water'.
It measured 110-inches to the fork with a 42-inch girth.

yeah mate thank god. They can get pretty accurate estimates from length and girth measurements, and a pic is the only trophy you really need these days. There quite a few record fish released now that arnt "official" records but the people that caught them no the facts and don't need glory or flack that would follow killing such a fish
