Were To Look For The Right Part Trained Gun Dog

Hello for the past two weeks I've been looking for a part trained gun dog I have ess atm but I am open to change but I carnt seem to find any part trained dogs if any one could help it would be greatfull thanks

Facebook there tends to be a few knocking about but beware the cheap stuff, no telling which part of it is trained and what it is trained to do!

 

Lot of people will have sold anything that they are going to sell now and be keeping things going forward for the shooting season unless someone offers very decent money.

 

Don't rush in this time of year or you may well end up with something that doesn't come out this year and you struggle to even get right for next season.

Thanks mate yeah I wouldn't but a dog without a trail any way and moneys not really a problem as the saying hose you only get what you pay for I have seen some all ready that was perfect picking up dummies until I pulled the starter pistol out lol but as you say alot off peddlers and scamers about thanks anyway ??

Depending on what you want it for there is different places to look.

 

Shooting times online marketplace and Sporting Gun magazine often have gundogs.

Ukgundogs online also has dogs for sale and lists of breeders and trainers of spaniels , labs and pointers etc

You could try contacting the Secretary of the Kent Working Spaniel Club - they may know of local member/s who may have a dog suitable for you.

Go with a washed out field trial dog from a trainer/kennel known for good dogs and you'll have the foundation for a good meat dog. I'd stay away from the classifieds. Trust me, nothing worse than undoing some jokers "training"
