I would take a chance and give my kids away rather than watch them starve to death with me In that situation. I wouldnt be surprised if that was the same sign just altered words and added the dog bit for the other photo. fireman 10,917 Posted July 30, 2016 Report Share Posted July 30, 2016 One bit of film i find hard to watch is the BBC Battle of the Beanfiled film where a bearded fella is realy pleading to the press for help as he knew what was comming later in the day,now i know or knew this fella very well and believe it or not he was the most formidable man i have ever met and i have met a few rum un's in my time and for him to be pleading like that is mentaly moving for me.He was never a bully or a open hard case but he knew how to bang either on the cobbles or all in when trouble came to site in various ways,his morals and just the way he was made a massive impact on myself and many other folk in the hippy travelling scene during the 80's and 90's and during the film your'll see smoke rising in the back ground and that was his fire engine and daughters trailer being burnt by the old bill.A bit of a story but a personal one to me as i knew many folk in that field that day and it really rocks me to watch it still...
