mark williams 7,550
What should I try , I wonder. The biggest of the three rabbits went to a family member within an hour of being shot and dressed. The woody has been frozen as it stands for decoying work and then to the ferrets. Hmmmm What to cook ? Which recipe ? atb. 1 Quote Link to post
Jonjon79 13,358
While it's nice out, put a little barbecue sauce on them, wrap them in bacon and put them on the barbecue while you have a few cold beers. ...... lovely 3 Quote Link to post

Greyman 28,084
Anything I,m unsure of in the cooking department, normally goes in the slow cooker for 12 hrs with a bottle of cheap red wine, I,ve yet to have anything cooked this way that was not lovely, the main problem with eating what you shoot is not knowing how old it is, so a six month old pigeon may be lovely and succulent but looks the same as a two year old that's as tough as old boots, but 12 hrs in the slow cooker and they are both as soft and juicy as each other, plus I'm not a fan of hanging my game till it's almost rotten, so the slow cooker removes this issue as well, so all venison, pheasant, etc gets a 12 hr bath in the red wine, then just make your gravy, curry sauce or whatever in the slow cooker after you take the meat out Quote Link to post
