roybo 2,873
Thought bedlington already had poodle in them. I would have thought there be plenty of you could rely on to work before going that way . Maybe a pure bedlington , a spaniel ,terrier or hound. Quote Link to post

Maximus Ferret 2,063
Bred for money and aimed at pet homes I'd say. Certainly I'd never buy one as a worker (and I own a Hancock ). I can't see what poodle would add that a beddy hasn't already got. Quote Link to post

shepp 2,285
From what I can see of it, the Bedlington looks more like it's from working lines than show. Quote Link to post

lietome 138
Think George Newcome wanted to produce a better working strain as the kc Bedlington was about f****d he added lakeland to his line heard he produced some good dogs Quote Link to post
lietome 138
The other ones Gutchcommon was a line bred by a Mrs Williamson or Williams the ones I've seen kc ones at hunt shows done my head in yapping Quote Link to post

Mine is mostly Rillington and has what is described as Fell Terrier about five generations back in her pedigree. 1 Quote Link to post
